Biography:
Co-founder and partner of Waters Group Global, an international consultancy generating measurable gains for small and medium sized companies.
Creator of the GAP model of economic growth and business expansion which focuses highly specialized resources to GROW young companies, ATTRACT external investment, and PREPARE companies and communities for the impacts of growth and expansion. Using this model, the Capital Region of New York State attracted more than $10 billion in business expansion, and new industry clusters.
Frequent national speaker on the topic of business growth and expansion. Recipient of the American Marketing Association, Capital Region Chapter, Marketer of the Year award and the Albany Chamber of Commerce Woman of Excellence award. Selected as a Woman of Influence by the Capital Region Business Review. Kelly serves on a number of Corporate Boards of Directors and advisory committees.
• Over 20 years experience in business development, technology commercialization, and business expansion.
• Has assisted hundreds of small to medium sized manufacturing and technology firms identify new markets, attract investment and expand production capabilities.
• Sustains a large network of executive level contacts in a variety of industry sectors to include nanotechnology, alternative/renewable energy, advanced materials, biotechnology/life sciences, and homeland security/national defense.
• Proven results in product placement, market penetration and revenue generation. Created new corporate divisions which grew on average 23% annually for five consecutive years.
• Experience at various executive levels including seven years as Chief Executive Officer and President of small technology focused company.
Jack Waters
Highlights of Expertise:
• With more than twenty years of experience in the aviation industry, Jack brings a special skill set to Waters Group Global spanning the realm between the manufacturing environment and systems engineering.
• His depth of experience throughout the aerospace product lifecycle facilitates ability to assess aerospace technology relevance and determine effective market entry points.
• Successfully led teams with more than 100 members and managed projects with operational budgets in excess of $4 million US.
• Has participated in and led teams through successful implementation of LEAN/Six Sigma programs.
• Two decades of military service in the US Navy as a test pilot with more than a decade involved in Department of Defense acquisition programs.
• Maintains connections within major aerospace companies serving both commercial and military aviation markets.
• Maintains appropriate Department of Defense security clearances.
